Hi there! I was so excited to find your thread! I am in the same situation you were in a year or so ago. {I am 10 years older tho LOL} I am starting with RETS in April and the last steps are now the orientation and the darn CPR. I am actually a medical assistant but our whole office is expired and my manager is having trouble finding someone to come to us and update us so it's looking like I'm on my own for getting re-certified. I was trying to find classes in Dayton and it sent me to your thread! I absolutely must know how things are going!! I see you are finishing up so that tells me you decided to go ahead with RETS. I have had my doubts about them because they are a little too polished at getting you in there if you ask me, but I've tried this before at different schools and, like you, God just seems to be guiding me in this direction with this school. I will be keeping my eyes open. They could be a nightmare for someone not paying attention and just trying to better themselves, but I've been through too much to let them not give me everything they say they will in that precious peach catalog. Know what I mean? That being said, you are there right now and I would truly value your thoughts on how things are going. What do you think of the program? Have you run intoi things that made you regret being there? I mean you have perservered and for that I applaud you, but was it because you were in there and were going to stick it out no matter what? Or is it living up to your expectations? I have had a few people ask me why I am going there as opposed to KMC, or MVCTC, or Sinclair, or even Hondros {which i think is pretty similar to RETS (the Stepford Wives of junior college), but I really feel like God has orchestrated things for me to do this at this time, at this institution and my plan and prayer is to do all I can to get all I can out of this experience. Hope to hear from you soon.
