From what I remember, the class was about 10 weeks long. I took it last summer because i was starting CRNA school in August, and wanted to get a class out of the way. It was great because I was able to travel for a month and I never set foot on campus. There were a few modules and you just download and watch lectures. You're only graded by exams. You have an online exam to complete every week. There are specific time slots for you to complete the tests, but you have a week to do so. It seemed like a lot of content, but it was pretty much an open book exam. The only catch is that you have 50 minutes to complete the exam. Plenty of time, though, if you actually read the slides and make note of where things are in the lectures. If you put the time and the effort, you will not have a problem getting an A. I had some coworkers that took graduate online patho classes from other universities the same time i did, and they were busy writing papers and answering discussion boards.
I took one from Weber State University in Utah (this was intro to path), and the other was at the University of Utah, I too at the time lived in a very rural area and that was my only option. Let me know if I can help anymore!
Oh the teacher's name at Weber is Craig Chugg--Phoenominal teatcher!!
