no it won't affect your pay at all. It doesn't have anything to do with the hospital, and so you don't have to work at a certain place or certain hours. You just get the loan through the state, then pick a hospital. Every quarter (I think) you have to get your boss to sign a form stating that you've worked full time. Once the year or two years is up, they'll send you a letter saying that the loan is paid off!! I think you're thinking about scholarships through the hospitals, in which you might get stuck doing something that you don't want to. This scholarship is through the state, because they want to keep nurses in your state. Hope that makes sense
Oh... and will the service cancelable loan affect my pay or position once I graduate? I guess I'm worried that I will get stuck in a job that I either don't like or get paid less than other employees. Do you know anything about that?
Hi. I saw one of your posts about Ga State and was hoping you could help with my question. I am hoping to enter the ABSN program in the next year or two. I have to complete 5 or 6 of the prereqs. The website says that you have to have a minimum program gpa of 3.0. What exactly is this program? Is it just my prereqs or will it include my gen ed from my previous school? If you could be specific, that would be awesome! Thanks in advance!
