To join all branches of the military an ADN is required. The only exception is you are able to join the Army reserves with an ADN.

No it's community college ADN program that will finish May 2010. Yes process to get in and requirements. There are some requirements listed on the page in the link I posted but I wonder if there isn't more. What physical requirements are there for the older set joining the army? Is there a physical test to pass as there is with a young person. (You have to run 2 miles do push up and sit ups etc) That kind of thing. Thanks for your reply.

Hi Just cause, I am interested in the program (two year service obligation for older healthcare professionals) I posted about but I am only just starting my LVN-RN and won't be an RN until June of 2010. Just thought I could get some info before I become an RN. Do you know anything about it? Thanks for any info you can give!

Hi. I've applied for Drexel's ACE Spring 2010 and have some questions.

If/when you have time can you answer some specific questions for me:
    - Can you tell me more about the program? Are there any good things about it?
    - Is it roughly the same as other programs in terms of difficulty? How much study time do you have to devote a week?
    - Can you address the drop out rate? Lots of posts seem to talk about that. Are they good students dropping out or people that just aren't focused?
    - How flexible were they with pre-reqs? I have a few classes that could/should count as ethics, stats or comp apps, but aren't specifically titled as such (the course description would show that though, however, that doesn't go with the general transcripts). Do you know if there is someone that is flexible and helpful regarding that?
    - What month did you graduate? When did you study and take the NCLEX?
    - For those that were failed or held back, what were their options?

    Thanks for taking the time!

    Hello,
What is the estimate time from signing the contract to first day of OBLC for USAR-RN. Are uniforms free or not?

    Thanks for your help,
    EFMB

    Hello there,

I saw your message from a few months ago (http://allnurses.com/military-nursin...ns-349521.html) and you mentioned a stipend for ADN RNs going for the BSN. I'm a new reservist, and applied to the UCC program today. What is the stipend, and how do we get it?

    Thanks
