- Neurogeek,
Is it possible for me to live in Waco and commute to Fort Worth daily (assuming you are from TX)? How many days a week is class? And then...how many days a week is clinicals? I am just really stressing out about moving to Fort Worth because I own my home here in Waco. Let me know what you think! Thanks! - No, don't bring extra copies unless there is something you forgot to submit, like your CCRN score, when you applied. You would need to give that to the secretary, not the interviewers. Don't look too overprepared or nervous. I don't know anyone who took a briefcase or folder, or written questions. The idea is the spur of the moment responses & you don't want to give them the impression that you're unable to function without having everything written down. Besides, making continuous eye contact is key in that room. Be calm and speak slowly, don't rush your answers. It's ok to use a little humor but stay professional. Be prepared to answer lots of personal questions. It really is all about personality fit & brining in notes might make it appear that you are going by a script & not really just being yourself. Wear business attire. Suits are pretty much the dress code, although I saw a girl at both TWU & TCU who came in jean! Needless to say, she didn't get accepted at either school and came out of her interviews bawling like a baby. DO NOT overthink this!!! Take a deep breath, get lots of sleep & treat yourself to something stress relieving the day before such as a massage. It is the single most important thing you'll ever do it's true, but being relaxed is the key to winning the hearts of the TCU interviewers. Also, they may ask a couple of clinical questions. I didn't get asked any but others did. don't be shocked if it happens, just go with the flow....Best of luck!! What time is your interview? I'll be there to cheer you on!
- I'm interviewing TCU on the 9th. Is it worthwile to bring extra copies of resumes, GRE, CCRN to the actual interview? I am going to bring a list of questions to jog my memory. Is it ok to bring along a briefcase or small folder? Just really wanting this one to be a homerun. Thanks.
