I applied to PrattCC LPN-RN online program and am crossing my fingers that I'm accepted to their next session. I spoke with a nurse recruiter earlier this month that said my GPA and TEAS test looked good, so to just await a letter from them. I have done many courses online for my associate's degree, but have experienced different situations depending on the instructor's expectations and the ease of use of the online course software. I just checked Pratt's website and saw that they had all but 1 person pass NCLEX-RN the 1st time. That is encouraging. But, how many people started the program and why did they not complete? What is your experience with instructor expectation? Were objectives laid out at the beginning? Were any technical difficulties understood (not excessive, just the once in a blue moon fluke!)? Was the online software alright? Just curious. I'm currently working my tail-end off as an ADON for a 100 bed facility. Trying to decide if my work obligations will have to be minimized while I complete my degree. ANY suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks so much, and good luck with all your pursuits!
