This is a Field Nurse or Home Care related role. This role is located in New Jersey, and will cover parts of Mercer, Somerset, Union and Bergen Counties. Candidates should either have infusion experience, or home care experience with some solid IV background. Must be an RN obviously, and must have a car. These positions will pay 68-78K plus per diem $$ while on-call. They are flexible on hours for the right person, but ONLY want full-time people. Here are the details.

Our client, a leader in the Home Infusion/IV Therapy industry, is currently seeking experienced Nurses to join their team. They currently have three positions available. We are looking for candidates who are bright, dependable, and able to work independently.

ABOUT THE POSITION

• Provides primary patient care for a specific caseload of patients.
• Evaluates and educates patients and families to safely administer the home infusion therapy.
• Evaluates the home environment where the care is to be provided and identifies interventions that may be required to ensure safety.
• Communicates with appropriate care team members, to include pharmacists, physicians, dietitians, home patient representatives and any appropriate community resource staff members
• Applies appropriate ethical, legal, confidentiality and advocacy principles to the planning and delivery of patient care.
• Completes all documentation accurately and in a timely manner.


SCHEDULE

• Monday – Friday
• Days (8:30a-5:30p)
• 5 8-Hour Shifts or 4 10-Hour Shifts Available (Flexible)
• 1 weekend shift per month (Sat or Sun)
• 1 night of on-call per week (5:30p – 8:30a) Paid per-diem rate

Education, training, experience:
REQUIREMENTS

• RN Diploma, Associates degree or Bachelor’s degree in Nursing required (BSN Preferred).
• One to two years of IV related nursing experience OR one to two years of home care nursing experience preferred.
• Current RN license in MA, current CPR certification, and valid driver’s license required.
• INS, ONS or ASPEN certification preferred.
• High tech IV skills and knowledge preferred
