Wow! OMG, fmwf! I have not been on this site for a while, but I don't know why your message did not get sent to my email. So sorry! Yes! I would LOVE to hear about your interview, old news by now, but very interesting, I'm sure. Are you starting a program in Sept? Jealous.
I am starting a new FNP job in rural Maine next month- moving my family, renting my house, etc. I am applying for National Health Service Corps loan repayment- Lot of $ in that right now. I am harboring a secret hope that once I complete my service obligation, the health center will pay for me to go to CNM school in exhange for my continued employment, as well as offering new midwifery services. The community sure needs it! I really want to be a family nurse midwife. That's my dream. Like the old-time "GPs", but more woman centered.
Anyway, one step at a time . . .
Please do fill me in on your jouney and accept my apologies for not receiving your previous post. Bebeleche
Hi, are you working hard... (I think you are)? Haven't heard from you in a while. I've got somethings to tell you. I did have my interview with Phila U. Learned a lot. It was absolutely more challenging than my Frontier interview, and lasted for about one hour. Let's arrange for a "chat" soon! fmwf
