I was terrified taking the 2nd time, but you have to go in with a positve attituede. Instead of using the nclex prep books...I used the cds included with each book. By doing this, it is much faster answering questions and helps prepare you to take the test on the computer. I tried to do about 100 practice questions a day ( on the comp. didn't take very long) Also, make sure you know the basics........ labs, diagnostics, basic meds, and abcs these are the building blocks........they will help you answer the questions appropriately. Hey, I just took the test nov. 23 for the first time and fail at 75 I am still in shock. I am planning on taking it again in 45 dayz and the truth is i am a little scared what did you do different to prepare the second time for the test.
