Hello...I have been looking up Zena Bethune, and your question from 2002!!! was the first one to appear on Google today! I don't know if you ever got an answer, or if you are even still interested at this point. I loved her growing up...she was so unique, and watched her every chance I got. Unfortunately, many years ago I heard that she had committed suicide. There is so much to wade through, websights, questions, etc. that I do not know if I will ever find any more info on her, but thought I would send this on to you.
