Hey there! Got your message! I really liked the classes, but it would really depend on the kind of person your friend is. Because there aren't any "face-to-face" lecturers, no one is really there to regulate how the class behaves. (i.e. people who are late, people who might chit chat, people on the internet etc.) whereas if there were an instructor there, these things might not happen. I was blessed with a very mature class, and I haven't heard of any problems, but the potential exists. Though others may see the freedom as a blessing too. My class didn't have a single drop out, in fact, I have seen instances where students were struggling and they failed particular classes and were given a second or third chance. Though they fell behind their original class, we had one student that was placed in our group that had fallen behind. Of course, the class ahead of mine as well as the one behind mine had students that struggled academically... but I've only heard of one official drop out (they quit nursing all together). Our group was no better or worse, it just was a strange anomaly I guess. :-)

Yes, I am ICU bound (I just passed my NCLEX, so it's official) and I am really excited to start. I've seen lots of people on allnurses.com that have ICU experience! I had no idea there were so many!

Well, I hope that your friend gets in... It's really a lot of fun there, and they truly have a family-like, caring atmosphere. Plus, you get to be a COUG!

Hi, yes I did... my boyfriend and I both just recently graduated from there! I would be more than happy to answer questions about program. Tell your friend to keep their chin up, and that it couldn't hurt to make an appointment with the advisor there. She's very nice (Bonnie) and she'll help them get on the right path... Good luck!

Hey! I just moved back to the Tri-Cities from NV and just wanted to say hi. Did you go to WSU Tri-Cities? A friend of mine is interested in going there. If you'd be willing to answer some questions, get back to me
