    Hey, Yes I am in the Army Reserves. I spent 9 years in the Navy Reserves as an LVN with no respect.. I flipped over to the "dark side" and suddenly I was like "Charles in Charge!" I really wish I had joined the ARMY first.... What I like most in the Army is that no matter what your MOS, everyone is trained in Combat Lifesaver in bootcamp!

    You are right about enlisting as a Combat Medic, however, you don't have to have any experience in a "sand box" to apply to the program. The Army is really hurting for PA's. When I was at school this past summer at Fort Sam, 6 medics applied to the program and where accepted straight out of AIT since they had the prereqs and the CAPT/PA's at the school wrote LOR's for them. It's doable. Also, 3 were Reserves, 2 Guard and 1 Active.
