Dude, I just really don't feel like dissecting this in public when I don't actually know what we're even arguing about. You are inTENSE. That's all I meant when I said lighten up.

    *sigh*

    Never mind. As you were.

I don't know what you mean by "loosen up." My posts are genuine and straightforward, lacking emotion and without any reference to personal characteristics. I do that on purpose because people are so damn sensitive, but I find that people choose to interprete messages in a negative manner anyway, leading me to submit simple straightforward inquiries to clarify what it was that set people off. Of course, usually such inquiries are in vain because I think people go back and realize that my posts were presented at face value...calm, straightforward, without insult or personal characterization. I suspect that sometimes people get even more angry when they realize I wasn't guilty of whatever sin they wanted to assign to me, and find it tough to concede that I was simply engaging in solid discussion about the topic, and that my greatest violation was simply not agreeing with them, or was pointing out flaws in their logic.

That's okay. Frankly, though, you'd get a lot more leeway if you loosened up a little. Really.

If I'm slamming you you'll know it.

I wasn't attempting to disagree or "slam" you. I was requesting clarification on something that looked vaguely like an accusation. I apologize if my inquiry made you angry, but given the remarkable lack of leeway that I am afforded here, I place great importance in ensuring I know exactly what people meant when they say things like that to me. Thanks for understanding.
