About TriecyJay

TriecyJay has 3 years experience.

Hey allnurses!! I'm currently a CNA and a Student Nurse. I just recently had to step away from Chamberlain due to financial reasons. Everything happens for a reason though, because now I'm waiting to attend pre-service training with TDCJ, to become a Correctional Officer. Instead of graduating in the Spring of 2018, I'll now be graduating in the Fall of 2018. I'm excited about the change, definitely nervous about the work environment, but still ready for the challenge.

NurseSpeedy, Thankyou!! I totally do not feel offended. I see exactly what you're talking about with profit over safety, b/c my supervisor is a greedy one... I've witnessed exactly that within the 1 1/2yrs I've been employed here. It's sad and I have...

  7. Med Error by CNA

ArlyleRN, I'm not a med aide. My supervisor said she would contact the Dr the next morning. I'm not sure how exactly it sounds illegal or unethical, b/c I honestly don't know. All I know is that the resident is suppose to have a set mg amount of War...
  8. Med Error by CNA

MunoRN, if you look up Texas Type B Assisted Living Facility regulations, you could see how my supervisor is able to delegate such a task. I had a in-house training, took a "written test" and my supervisor signed off saying I could pass meds in the f...

Thank you. That was honestly my biggest fear. I would like to add in I gave my two-weeks notice prior to this happening and if I got terminated, egally, I will not be paid my 64hrs of unused vacay time on top of my regular scheduled days. Knowing her...

I am a CNA working at a 13-bed Type B Assisted Living facility in TX. I am legally allowed to give medication at this facility, b/c I'm working under my supervisor's license. I've been working graveyards with this company for almost a yr and a half, ...

I didn't know him, but my heart is so heavy right now!! Because of AllNurses, I'm pursuing my BSN. I used to stalk this site day in and day out and read all kinds of information before I became a member, b/c I was so unsure of becoming an RN at first...

Even though you have less than 24 college credits, you should be able to transfer the classes you already taken... I would look into that. The less credits you need towards your degree, no matter how few they are, helps you and your pocket book... It...
