   I've worked at the VA in my community for 7 years now (Since I graduated from nursing school). Choosing to work here is the best decision Ive ever made. The pay is much more than other hospitals and I thorougly enjoy the work that I do.

   Thank you sooooo much for that link. I've worked at the VA hospital for 7 years and I have yet to be able to get access to real time nursing pay scale for Arkansas. Thanks a million.!!!!!!!!!!

   Do you have to rotate tours quarterly? I called a prison in Houston, TX that I am interested in working at and they mentioned that every nurse has to rotate tours quarterly.

    Hi lucky, I'm a nurse at a VA Hospital and no, it is not required that you have a BSN. I work alongside very strong nurses that do not have a BSN and managment continues to hire nurses with an array of credentials.
