  1. What is your watch preference?

Good but it isn't allowed even in CNA classes where I taught.
  2. HELP! regarding criminal background & nclex results

Well...I can tell you that I wad arrested and never charged. Still showed up on my background. It took about 10 days once they got the paperwork. That was in TX though. They likely want a written statement from you and the charge sheet/arrest reco...
  3. Tattoos on Nurses- NZ

I have a breast cancer ribbon tat...while 9 times out of 10 it is covered up..when people ask it can be a good teaching tool for patients on screening exams. Its on my forearm. Nobody has ever said anything about it. Then again..I don't make a big d...

  5. What is your watch preference?

No digital! Ever. 3 hands always. I have had quite a few..from Timex with the glow to Tinkerbell..to some flashy water resistant ones from sears during their Christmas sales :) School likely wants you to have anything but a digital watch. Check walm...
  6. Stethoscope? Type...

  7. What is your current LPN salary

I have a friend in GA only making 21/hr, she was an LPN, now new grad RN (her experience has a PN didn't help raise her hourly rate at all, which is utter BS IMO. She makes what other new grad RNs make.)
  8. UltraScopes?

If you google Ultrascope..a list of retailers pops up, as does the company website. Theres a check list of "needs" (based on hearing defecit, use etc), you honestly will only need the basic model for human use, unless you have a hearing problem. How...
  9. 3-12s days or 8-4 m-f (3 little boys at home)

My ex was military, and deployed. The 3 12's are doable, but, it takes a lot of planning. I preffered the 12's with 3 small kids. The clinic hours were nice, but for the kids appointments and field trips it was hell trying to get off when working...
  10. PTSD & Nurses

Aint that the truth..then again, look at how the VA handles it. I can personally testify to both accounts. You are better off having the big "C" in this country than a mental illness.
  11. You are my hero for the day :-D
  12. UltraScopes?

You are very welcome, check offerup too..even getting a used one and comparing might be worth the while. Before a littman or ultrascope I had one that glowed in the dark, it was a cheap sprague one lmbo. I thought it was the coolest thing ever. Kids...
  13. It opens the door for employers to deny coverage to anything because of religon. People get wrapped up in the repro aspect of the ruling because in this country sex sells
  14. Most employers and HR people I have asked, themselves didn't know or understand. Imagine that
  15. In the 15 years I have worked, not once did I ever get briefed during an interview or prehire what my health insurance covered and what it didn't. Maybe I should move to where you are.
