   An older female pt described their mouth to be so dry that it had a semen taste to it! ..TMI! A cute and cranky geriatric pt had me help remove his over-sized testicles from beneath him since "the boys have to dance!"

2. Breast pumping in an ICU

   An ER nurse came to visit her mother in the MICU and asked me if she could breast pump in the room.. I said no and didn't think I had to explain myself.. However the ER nurse replied that she does this all the time in her ER! Sorry this isn't a jok...

3. New to ICU- good comprehensive review book?

   I found the PASS CCRN review book to be more helpful than Kaplan's CCRN. PASS CCRN has great review activities after each chapter (i.e. crossword puzzles), which made critical care nursing more enjoyable to learn!
