   Same as in my state. Once you successfully complete a Nursing Fundamentals course in your first semester of RN school you can sit for your CNA boards. Sounds like that is what you are saying. Check it out, you may be able to!

   The money would be for textbooks and to cover any costs my pay from work wouldn't. I'm just so worried about taking a cut in pay, but you're right, I also don't want to be adding debt. Have to weigh the options.

    This is also a woman well into her 50's. I never would of expected this kind of attitude from her. Unit manager is very fond of her and wanted to keep her around. You all are right about what I can say in response to one of her comments!! :)
