After 8-12 hours on a hard floor, you'll swear they were the best investment you ever made. A lot of waitresses in our area wear the SAS brand as well and nothing else.

  10. CNA shoes - what kind to get?

For over 20 years, I use nothing but SAS brand shoes. Not the cheapest(approx $70) but the Gold Standard of Nursing footwear in my area. I have yet to find anything as comfortable over all the years.
  11. Lost job over HIPAA violation, what is employment potential?

First off and if your RN Relative has not already done so, she needs to consult with a Competent Labor Law Issue/Rights Attorney. That should have been done from Day One before she resigned. There may(key word)be in her state options available to her ...

  14. So, what happened to all the nursing jobs?

The Big Corporations are NOT going to resolve the Problems of Today's Nurses unless they are pushed to do so. That is a Fact. Nurses must organize and recitfy their problems in a large national unified voice much like the Construction Industry's Trad...
  15. Pageant--Historically this Apathy has been a Big Problem in the Nursing Profession. Nurses over the past have refused to speak up in a collective voice for the most part. They complain amongst themselves in the breakroom but not in a unified voice wh...
