  1. Nclex and shutting at 79 questions.

I have never heard of anyone getting a false positive. I've heard of one person getting the cc page but they actually passed. It worked for both my LPN and RN as well as with 4 of my friends from school, that have taken it so far. But you won't sto...
  2. HELP!!!!!!!!! I need answers

If you're having a hard time determining what the question is I would look towards Kaplan. It helps you break the question down into a stem - what the question is really asking for, and then takes you through four more steps. Good luck!
  3. Nclex-pn

Eek 1000 questions a day?? We were told my the Kaplan reviewer to not take more than 150 questions a day or you'll get burnt out! Can't have this test take over your life girl! I studied for only a week prior to my actual exam date and finished with ...
  4. Nclex-pn

When I did my LPN last year I used a random book I picked up at the bookstore. As long as you're practicing nclex questions then you'll do great! For my RN boards this year I used Kaplan which was provided through my school and was surprised how help...
  5. GOT MY ATT and planning to take NCLEX anytime soon.

I also used Kaplan. I used the course review book and the online qbank and trainers. I studied for about a week before I took my boards and got 75 questions with 7 select all that apply with quite a bit of delegation and prioritization. Good luck to...
  6. Working Full Time and a Student Full Time

It's definitely doable if you want it to be! I worked full time (36-54) hours a week during nursing school and finished with great grades. I honestly didn't have much of a life outside of work and school but it was only temporary and I wouldn't have ...
  7. That's a hard question to answer...it's all your preference how much you're comfortable working during school. I worked 36-50 hours a week during my two year RN program. It's definitely doable if you put your mind to it! And my school was 30 minutes ...
  8. NCLEX Tomorrow

Good luck!! I took Benadryl the night before I took mine to fall asleep. :) and remember to focus on what the question is asking you as well as take your time!
  9. june takers...

The hard thing about NCLEX like everyone else said above is its really different for each person. I finished in 75 questions and only had 7 select all and no math while my best friend tested Thursday and went the full 275 and had a ton of select all ...
  10. Milwaukee

Hi everyone! I'm looking to potentially move to Milwaukee and was wondering if anyone could give me an insight on places to live/cost of living etc. I've been trying to do quite a bit of research but the internet only tells so much! Also, a ballpark...
  11. Pearsonvue trick-how reliable?

I didn't have any hot spot questions, but I've heard they can test pretty heavily on fetal heart tones and EKG finding the pvcs or things like that. The only way to get better at them is to practice them and I think of each answer as true or false re...
  12. Pearsonvue trick-how reliable?

I only used the Kaplan review book and that worked well for me. Also had done all the trainers during my last semester except for 7 which I took a few days before my actual exam and about half of the qbank questions. Good luck! Thinking positive is ...
  13. Pearsonvue trick-how reliable?

No problem! :) hope you receive good news!!
  14. IPN is killing me..........

I'm confused about what's going on here. I'm sorry to hear you're going through a tough time. Hope things look up soon.
  15. confused and freaking regarding scores

You shouldn't be taking more than 150 questions a day, that could be your issue. You can study everything under the sun and nclex will still stump you. Take it easy for a while, I spent a week studying for my boards and finished with 75 questions and...
