  1. Mercy College-Toledo 2014-2015

I have not attended an info session yet, and I am starting to look into their BSN program as well, only because I know a BSN will probably look better and allow me to look into areas of critical care. I recently sent my transcripts to their advisor, ...
  2. Mercy College-Toledo 2014-2015

I am posting this because it seems like nothing has been posted about Mercy since 2009-2011. I live in Michigan, but have been looking into the ADN program (nights/weekends) at Mercy. I work full-time and would like to remain employed while in nursin...
  3. Tuition Forgiveness

Hello. I am curious what new information has been discovered regarding tuition forgiveness for nurses. I know sometimes you can work in an underserved area for so many years to receive assistance, but I am curious what info others out there have been...
  4. I reviewed the new admission points system and I was wondering if anyone who got in would be willing (if they have the time!) to share what their points equate to with the new system. I am considering taking nursing 110 and re-applying.
  5. Have you looked into Wayne State? I believe they may offer a CRNA too? And I think U of M Flint does as well. I was just looking at Wayne State's website regarding their accelerated program. It seems pretty easy pre-reqs, and no goofy entrance exams ...
  6. A BA in Soc is probably similar to my degree in psych. If you are closest to the soc degree I would say just keep following through with that. Look into transfer options for nursing with U of M. They seem to accept a lot of students, and the U of M h...
  7. You are 33 credits short of a degree. That is an accomplishment in itself! I am sorry you did not get in. I know how crappy I feel about it, so I'm sure you are dissapointed as well. As far as what you should pursue, I suggest you look into what inte...
  8. Well, I did not get in. I had a feeling I would not because I did not take my classes at EMU. Congrats to everyone who did get in. It is really an accomplishment with how competitive everything is for nursing school. I am considering looking into U o...
  9. Well, the letters are supposed to come out this week. Reading other people's stats on here makes me nervous. Eeek!
  10. Thank you for posting that you called and asked about the status. I am sure they had quite a bit of applications to go through. Good luck to everyone :)
  11. can everyone post when they get their letters so that we know when they finally went out?
  12. I think you are right. The people who are accepted will get their letters first I'm sure. I already have a back-up plan if I do not get in. I feel my chances are iffy.
  13. Good luck to you too :) I am pretty sure the letters come out mid-June. Is that what you were told too?
  14. I am trying to stay positive as well. That's the best thing to do! All of my pre-reqs were at community college like I said before. I did not take Nursing 110, but have 2 A's and a B in my 3 science pre-reqs, all of my points on the TEAS, and a lot o...
  15. Good luck to you too! I am ready to just find out already. This month long wait is too long! Have you heard any rumors as to how big the application pool was, etc? Did you take your pre-reqs at EMU?
