  1. Has anyone here applied to texas BON without PNLE?

What you need is a certificate of no examination from PRC. The certificate basically says that you haven't taken the licensure exam and also telling the BON's you're trying to apply to that there's no license to verify.
  2. Help for an international BSN Student

Try reaching out for Houston Methodist Hospital here in Texas. I heard they just went out of the country to fill up their staffing needs. But it would be very helpful if you're already an NCLEX passer. But then again, there's no harm in trying.
  3. There are tens of thousands of Philippine educated nurses in US who hasn't had any problem taking the NCLEX. And I'm pretty sure nursing schools in the Philippines are well regulated by the commission on higher education. The commission makes sure th...
  4. Dilaudid for self-driving patient.

HCA is full speed when it comes to pleasing patients. I had a co-worker before who got flagged by pharmacy because she pulled out 18 vials of Dilaudid on her shift. She gave it all to one patient as ordered. That's how big HCA is on kissing-butts. So...
  5. Relocating to Houston area after NCLEX

There are hospitals offering GN programs in the Conroe area. You should be able to find one. The only thing you need to worry about is what time of the year they offer those programs.
  6. CGFNS CVS

I think you're making it more complicated if you deviate from their application process. Idk if you are very familiar with snail mail and how it takes a huge chunk off of the processing time if you but if I were you, I would just correspond with the ...
  7. Filipino Graduate Applying for RN license in Texas

First thing you need to visit is the Texas Board of Nursing website to check for your eligibility. If you meet the requirements, start working on your CES with the CGFNS. https://www.bon.texas.gov/index.asp
  8. CGFNS CVS

No. Just mail you authorization forms to CGFNS and they will verify with your school that you finished the program. Only time you'll need to submit a copy of your diploma is when you're applying to NYSED.
  9. New Grad RN-Starting first job!

Yes you are right, all new hires for Memorial Hermann, regardless of what facility they will be working at goes through "Culture Day" in the Culture Day center at Memorial City. It's an 8-4pm "fun filled" affair (Be prepared to participate). I'm pret...
  10. I did tech jobs just to get my feet inside the door but I decided that it's not best for me to work as an RN in the same hospital I was at when I was a tech so I applied to a fellowship program, basically as a GN and that's how I got to where I'm at ...
  11. Very Confusing by ENDORSEMENTplease help

Well since you told them that you used to work as a volunteer student nurse, the board of nursing assumed that you had a special permit to practice nursing as a profession so they have to make sure that you had one or not to back your claims that you...
  12. Endorsement

It varies from 15 days or greater. Your best resource would be the BON-TX themselves. I suggest you directly contact the department involved with endorsements.
  13. Why does USA allow 2 year degree for RN's

Wow! Your ignorance is just astounding. First of all, Baylor Health System doesn't exclusively hire nurses who are BSN holders. They prefer BSN graduates for their magnet hospitals, but that doesn't mean exclusivity. If you're ADN and you're back in ...
  14. I am kinda confused

Ontario is a Canadian Province so the best resource for you would be the CCRNR. (Canadian Council of Registered Nurse Regulators).
  15. Bachelors from the Philippines
