   I think your chances of getting into a NICU would be much higher if you did have ICU experience...as that is where I came from. The other suggestion would be to get Peds ICU experience.

   Thank you all for your response. I find it so frustrating when you are fighting with the surgeon or neo to give them something...when you know the baby is in pain.

    I started out as a new graduate in Neuro ICU. All I did was pray and study when I wasn't working. It was a ROUGH first year, but totally worth it. Don't let people scare you off and ask lots of questions!
