   I know it just feels like I'm over my head. I have no intention on quitting. Just with level 1 coming to an end there are so many tests/exams and clinical competency coming up... Just overwhelming.

   I don't see how discussing the patient with his doctor is a HIPAA violation... I think your supervisor is mad you called the doctor and not listen to him and deal with it.

    Sounds like you're not officially in the nursing program (I could be wrong). So when you're done with your prereqs you'll have to apply to the program or you'll be on a wait list, depending on how your school does that.

    Where I live it is not legal to ask an employer when they do a verification if they were let go or quit. They can ask if the person can be re-hired. They also cannot tell anyone why they were fired. Doesn't mean they don't but legally they should not...
