    We have had more clotted PICCs lately. We have always used the PASV valve and saline. We recently change to the Purple Power PICCS andm have noticed more clotting problems. Does any one have a good system with saline flushes only???

    All techs and CT techs are able to connect O2 to a patient. The staff nurse should accompany the patient to the department if patient is unstable. Any concerns the floor nurse should call the rad nurse to give them a heads up.

    I wish I knew how to schedule cases in two rooms inpatient and outpatient. It seems like lack of communication and confusion every day. We are trying to have outpatient days instead of trying to mix both.

    In the cardiac cath lab the Imaging techs give sedation, many of these are LPNs. but in the radiology department only RNs give sedation. we dom use a conscious sedation record with LOC and level of sedation.
