    i have found that bladder scans will scan more than just bladder. If there is ANY fluid in the abdomen, the bladder scan will read that. I found 800cc on a bladder scan, and what the machine was reading was the ascites fluid in the abdomen. We stil...

    I think your assessment skills are spot on. ALWAYS ALWAYS ALWAYS trust your gut. I have finally learned this. :) (well, i learned it quite a few yrs back). I have learned in the yrs that when you think you have a problem with a patient... ask yoursel...
