   Nurse/pt ratio is a "smart" one. Do you have written protocols- ie pit inductions, iufd, amnioinfusions. How long is orientation? Do you get the same preceptor?

   I think I need to work with you guys! Lol. Out of the 6/7 RNs we staff there are always 2 in the nursery which is why the other areas suffer from poor staff nurse ratios.

   We recover our sections in our 5 bed ob rec room. We have our own ORs too. We don't require anything other than CPR and NRP for our nurses.
