  2. Duke Fall MSN 2020

Hi! I am from California originally (Sacramento area). My husband is in the Air Force, so we currently live in Ohio. I joined the facebook group, and I was accepted for the MSN Nursing Education program. Nice to meet everyone!
  3. I say no. I was in a similar situation and ultimately left because I felt like I would be the one thrown under the bus if anything went wrong. Doctors have the money, power, and more respect, and if it came to the nurse’s word against theirs, I felt ...

Hello, I was accepted to the MSN FNP program for Fall 2020! I’m excited but now that this is a reality I am determining if all of the pros outweigh the cons- mainly cost and now reading about possible placement issues, but I am not in DC area. I am c...

  11. Accreditation and Recognition outside of florida

If you finish at PCC and become an RN, then I don't really see the purpose of going for a BSN at another school. because those programs will make you go through your nursing courses all over again.
  12. Accreditation and Recognition outside of florida

PCC is known for having really strict rules, just to key you know. I'm almost positive you would be able to practice nursing anywhere in the US because you are required to take the NCLEX after you graduate and that is what the whole country uses to i...
  13. Accreditation and Recognition outside of florida

May I ask how you heard about PCC from all the way in California?
  14. Diploma RN to a Bsn

It really depends on the hospital's preference. A lot of hospitals in the Southeast USA only give 50 cents more an hour and you can still advance to higher positions without BSN as long as you have experience.
  15. Single Mother Need Advice

If your ultimate goal is to become a public health nurse, do not delay any longer. Check to see if there is a part time accelerated program where you could continue to work part time and if not you should qualify for some sort of financial assistance...
