    Just curious steppybay, are you also a Philippine nursing graduate who applied to CA and was denied eligibility to take the NCLEX-RN? If so, did you finish your coursework or go with the LVN route? Or did you apply out of state?

    The California board will still look at your educational background no matter what. So the concurrency issue might be a problem in the event that your education does not meet California's requirements.

    Ok, earlier you wrote MSMU and when I googled it, only MSMU in Maryland came up. Thanks for clarifying that it's not MSMU but instead MSMC.

    By the way, the MSMU you are referring to... is that Mount St. Mary's University in Maryland? I haven't heard of any MSMU in California. Also, have you tried University of San Francisco (USF)?

    Steppybay, I just called the nursing department in SFSU and mentioned about the MS/OB deficiencies and they said that they offer no such thing to people in our situation. They told me that I'd need to be a full time student enrolled in the whole nurs...

    Congrats! So that means NV BRN didn't ask you to take any more courses?
