  1. Passed my Boards!!

Just saw this, as I've been off the board for a while. Congrats! I'm studying for the exam now.
  2. Is anyone here doing the DNP program at Chatham University or University of Missouri - Columbia? I'm trying to decide between the two programs. Thanks in advance.
  3. I'm so sorry, clinicalteach, but your post made me LOL. I almost took what looked like the job of my dreams, too, until I was told about the 24/7 call. No way, Jose. I live 2 miles from the facility and could see myself being there 24/7. (Hi, Kids. R...
  4. Psych NP - peds

Yeah, I was just curious how people who see kids got to their jobs.
  5. Psych NP - peds

I started clinicals yesterday for my psych NP program. I love the system I'm precepting with, but they do not let NPs see kids. I would like to specialize in treatment of children if possible. Is anyone here in peds psych and how did you get where yo...
  6. PMHNP

The U of Tenn PMHNP program is excellent but all on-ground except for one class, which is offered online.

  9. Reading in advance before NP program?

    Which program did you use?
  10. As others have said, it will depend on the school you choose. Of course, the school you choose may depend on the pre-reqs, LOL. I have a BA in speech and theatre, MS in communications and an ADN. For the BSN, I had to take chemistry, stats and bioeth...
  11. I'm back!

Hey, SueSQ, I've been away and something pulled me back here, and I find you'd been laid off and now working LTC. Well, so am I. I am mostly happy and while the place has its issues like any job, I like the residents and love my shift (10p to 6a). W...
  12. Who's happy making a B?

For me, I think it's realizing my children's formative years are more important than a letter on my transcript. And I really don't think a B or two will make a difference in my admission if I prove to be an excellent candidate. I've heard it said by ...
  13. Who's happy making a B?

I am a straight-A student. Right now, I'm taking a full UG courseload and working, plus taking care of/helping my kids in school. Forget about the house being clean. I am facing the reality of a happier state if I accept that making a B in pathophysi...
  14. Our Legs and Feet

I started wearing Asics Cumulus 11. They take the floor pounding and support my feet well.
