    Bullying by the DON

Nothing is going to change. I don't understand why organizations allow bullying. Resign and report them to your state's LTC ombudsman program.

    Physical Assault by Patient

    Need Psych Nurse perspective

When I did my psych clinical, which was in a hospital, I didn't see any nurses actually interacting with patients. However, I knew psych was my passion. I've worked in a drug rehab facility, on psych floors, in a psych ER, and now as an in-home case ...

What do you love about homecare?

I'm a mental health intensive case manager. I do home, video and phone visits. I love the autonomy and not being stuck in an office 8 hours a day. After years of night shift, I love working 7:30-4 Monday through Friday, holidays off.

    Dissociative Identity Disorder

I think my patient has it, but he has not been diagnosed. I'm his case manager, so I spend more than 30 minutes at a time with him. His tone changes and he sometimes says, "Why do you keep interrupting me." He has told me that he thinks he is possess...
