  1. EMT Starting RN program anyone else go down this road?

    I went straight from EMT to CNA to nursing school. I start this fall. I think its the right decision.
  2. nursing second degree progam: TEAS vs non TEAS question

    I would consider spending about a week reviewing for the TEAS. I was out of college also for a few years, but I bought their review book made by ATI and did quite well on it. It is a difficult test though, but it's conquerable.

  6. Difference between the TEAS and SAT/ACT?

    I took the SAT about 10 years ago also. I had to take the TEAS for nursing school. The book they offer is great to study, it's made by the same company that makes the test. It's a hard test, but with study and confidence it do-able.

    I had that reaction too when I wanted to go to CNA school. After working as a CNA for a couple of months, I don't find it as bad as people make it out to be. I like it.

    I know someone who is a big tall guy that's a male nurse. His patients love him. It's all in the attitude and not the physical appearance that determines if a patient feels a certain way.

    I'm a current CNA right now working in the hospital. I empty foleys, drains, provide hygiene care, and several more things that are not even in my job description. I think the hospital is better because you get more medical experience and also you do...
