  1. Gel pad dispersive return electrode

    We currently use disposable bovie pads and are looking at switching to the Megadyne gel pads. Would love to hear your feedback regarding likes and dislikes of each.
  2. OR Pet peeves

    My biggest pet peeve in the OR is when a surgeon sends you running for something, you quickly get it, open it, and then it just sits there on the field. They never use it!! That drives me BONKERS!!!
  3. Not completely true...Yes there is a lot of paper writing but you also learn more about whole person nursing, critically thinking, and using research guided nursing practices.

    I worked in ICU for 2 years and I miss assessments and titrating drips.
  6. Do you let sales reps open items in your OR?

    In our ORs, reps are not allowed to open implants or instruments; however, some reps continue to open things when permission is granted by the circulator.
