Im just speaking more so in terms of the numerical amount. There are some CNA's and even caregivers making the same amount or even more as a LVN regardless of their experience. The scope for LVN's seems to be rapidly decreasing.

Thats my point exactly. I do not have a problem with them being paid more, they have done the extra schooling and so forth, so pay them for it but why so much more. Here in california the pay difference varies but from what i am seeing and hearing it is $25 more and up.

Aside from the obvious, i mean you can receive further education as a LVN also such as I.V therapy and so forth

Why is there such a huge pay difference between RN and LVN's when, to me, there is not that big of a difference in our job description???!!! This is the main thing driving me straight back into the class room.

    Hello all,

I am currently taking pre-reqs in order to apply to the nursing program. I have a W for A&P a couple of semesters back. I was not able to fully focus and study the way i needed to due to work and other family issues. Is there still hope?
