  1. Yeast Infections in Pregnancy

    Nope.
  2. Yeast Infections in Pregnancy

It could be something as simple as ligament pain that was brought on by you standing up quickly, and the yeast infections was just something they found by coincidence. I dunno, it's hard to diagnose online But, seeing as it required a trip to ER, I...
  3. GBS treatment??

This was one of our monitors this year. Too many of our moms weren't getting treated in time. I'm assuming it was a pharmacy issue, because L&D started keeping PCN in the pyxis for quicker administration, and we have somehting like 90$ increase...
  4. Nurses Diverting Drugs?

Absolutely. But it doesn't change how difficult it is to get the drug. It just signs your name to it. Which, in the throws of addiction, no addict really cares about.
  5. Nurses Diverting Drugs?

No, the pyxis does not solve the problem, it just makes every person that gets into it accountable for being in it. Leaves more of a trail.
  6. Was I wrong or would you be mad too??

Not too sick to float? This sounds like you weren't well enough to be anywhere other than in bed.
  7. Was I wrong or would you be mad too??

Whether or not you should have been the one to go back to OB isn't really the point here. You really shouldn't have been at work at all if you were sick.
  8. Professional women HELP!!!!

WOOT! Well said Renee. When you have kids, you have to be ready to give them everything. Doesn't matter when it happens, but what you are wiling to put into it when it does.
  9. Professional women HELP!!!!

Because I have 45 year old primips all the time. Nobody says you HAVE to have kids by a certain age (well, your mom might, but you can't really factor that advice in )
  10. Nurses Diverting Drugs?

They're addicts. The only thing they're thinking about is a fix. It has nothing to do with feeling invinsible or untouchable. It is not a rational thought process at all. As for how big of a problem it is and publications of liscense revocations, t...
  11. Cpr

My CPR renewal is built into my yearly hospital recertification day. We have a day every year during our anniversary month that we recert in all that boring stuff. Every other year it automatically includes CPR. Kinda nice! No brainer for me!
  12. Cpr

Same way. You'll have to recert every 1-2 years, depending on your facility. Good luck!
  13. Nurses Diverting Drugs?

I do. As I was reading, I was thinking, "oh yeah, let's give everyone just enough info....." Kinda like how I used to read books about eating disorders just to get good ideas. It happens. It's sad. The end.
