I have been told by hiring managers that MGH will not let you work as a CNA / PCA once you have passed NCLEX. I don't know how the other hospitals in the city are with this.
Laurie, I have an October date for the NY site. I sent my application in back in April. Of those I've talked to lately it seems the wait is about 6 months everywhere except CA, which is longer.
