  1. Trouble at 19

Speeding tickets are considered infractions and not misdemeanors except for special cases like reckless driving but that may still be an infraction.
  2. Tom Cruise on Postpartum depression

Funny beacuse I said the same thing to myself a few days ago when I wanted to go see "War of the Worlds".
  3. Do you ever wonder why you are here?

I think you need to find your own purpose in life. You can still do what your doing now and still find time to explore tons of different activities to make yourself feel better. My primary purpose is to serve God and my family (parents, brother and...
  4. Nurses Who Shouldn't be Nurses

I am definetely in it for the money...but also because I care about people and I love learning almost everything medical/health related. The problem is when people go into nursing and many other fields for only the money and for none of the other re...
  5. I guess you could say that but it depends on how you look at it and how you compare certain situations. I may have a weakness compared John Doe, but compared to Joe Bob it could be a strength.
  6. You might say " I don't necessarily have any weaknesses, but what needs the most improvement from my strenghts is such and such..." It could be worded a little differently but I would personally say something like that.
  7. Horrible Chemistry Teacher...

If your talking about introduction to Chemistry, I can give you my professors website where he posts his powerpoint presentations and it might help if you go through them. Just PM me for the site and I'll have it for you by then if you want it.
  8. I don't know how your school handles those situations, but I had a almost similar incident happen to me. There was only a few days left before registration and my financial aid had not been approved yet because I needed to fill out some more forms. ...
  9. Unfair Discipline at Work...What do you Think?

If you were there as a patient, what does it matter what you said to that lady. You should only be held liable for saying something wrong when your on the clock and "working" if I'm right. If they are not paying you for your time there, how can the...
  10. I'm still pre-nursing but I did take General Chemistry (1A) instead of the Intro to Chem (6A). I won't lie, it was much much harder and I know this because now I'm taking the intro general chemistry to get an A is the class because in general chemis...
  11. Rampant Cheating

That does seem a bit strict but that's probably for the better. I would think that our nursing program probably has something along those lines with extra precautions taken during exams to catch cheaters. I'm not in the program yet so I don' t know...
  12. Rampant Cheating

I wouldn't tell the teachers/professors who's cheating on a test b/c I don't really care if anyone else does it as long as I end up in the nursing program myself and they end up passing the NCLEX. I'm not saying it is the right thing to do, but if I...
  13. Research Paper ?? and HELP!!

When you write the research paper try to keep in mind what others will think of your paper when they read it. Too many quotes and cites makes reading an essay/paper feel choppy. It feels like you are almost, coming, to, a, stop, and because of the w...
  14. What are your grades like??

I noticed most of you only posted one Chem class for your pre-reqs. At my school we have to take Chem 6A(intro to general) and 6B(intro to organic) as pre-reqs so I was just curious about how your schools do it? Do you do it after you get in the nur...
  15. Questions about school

Wow, 12 months is so short. I'm not in the nursing program yet, but ours is 5 semesters long with the option of 6 semesters for extra classes. Of course it's not an accelerated program but still, 12 months sounds so short. Either way, good luck!
