   As others have stated this has nothing to do with any legislation. The push towards bachelor's prepared nurses is due to the 2010 IOM report on the recommendations for the future of nursing. As well as hospitals pushing for Magnet status.

   I was only on the phone with her briefly so I'm not sure, but I literally got the call only minutes ago and I heard from an internal that they were looking to hire a bunch of people for the PICU

    I'm dying to know... I actually received another offer from another hospital in their NICU (yay).. but UCLA is my first choice and I have to decide by Friday!!! Crossing my fingers we hear verrrryy soon.

    @cocojnel- also I noticed that you interviewed on the later date... did you perhaps see how many people they interviewed in your group. There was about 25 that interviewed in our first group from what I "guesstimated" by looking at her sheet.
