   I am also an LPN student. I had an MI on a Saturday night, missed clinicals that Sunday. Returned to class that Tuesday & received a warning for lost clinical hours (ie; if I missed another clinical day I'd be out of the program ). No wiggle room...

   Could be a wet wash issue. If the clothes have been washed & left in the washer overnight or not hung to dry or put in the dryer. They will take on a sour pee-pee smell. Try speaking to the mom about that. See what she says about it.
