I have literally applied to all the fellowships that have shown up for October, except the current one that went up today for the Emergency Department at north shore because it tells me the job description does not exist anymore. I have not heard back at all from any of them.
Thank you pkthai!
When I saw that my resume says "relevant file:NO" I of course called the nursing recruiter to ask if that meant anything. They told me that it is something that the people reviewing our files use and to not think anything of it. Now I'm wondering if it's a bad thing... I am taking the NCLEX this Thursday so I am extremely nervous and hope that I pass! I also asked if having a BSN but not having your license yet affects your acceptance into the fellowship if you are planning to take the NCLEX before you begin, and they also said that it doesn't. I'm going to upload my cover letter today although everything else I add just ends up saying "relevant file: NO". Hopefully we will hear back soon.
I just graduated with a BSN in August and I am going to take the NCLEX this thursday. I do not have any direct care experience other than clinicals and my previous job experience is as an executive nursing secretary at a nursing home (which I'm pretty sure doesn't help my chances) I did not hear back at all but since they said they would let us know whether we were accepted or not I'm just waiting patiently to get a response.
hope that helps!
Hello all, someone had asked if we hear back whether we get accepted or not. I called again yesterday, I'm pretty much harassing these people, and they told me that we do hear back whether it is a yes or a no.
Thanks for the heads up!
Also, when I click on view submission for the critical care fellowships...where you add your resume etc. next to my resume file it says relevant file: NO
Is that happening to anyone else? The only ones that say YES are 2 of my recommendation letters.. I called about this and they told me not to pay attention to it... but I was wondering if everyone else was experiencing the same thing.
I called to ask them if they've already started interviewing people and the person on the phone told me they are still reviewing applications. I hope we all hear back! Btw I called last Thursday.
I also applied and I really hope we hear back. Good luck!
Could the people who got in or got wait listed please share what their GPA, GRE scores, and ICU experience were? I would really appreciate it!!
Hey everyone.. I will be at Manhattan VA on Thursdays and Beth Isreal on Fridays.. Can't wait to meet you all during orientation!
Hey everyone! does anyone know anything about this interview they want to hold? What kind of questions do you think they will be asking? If they already accepted you into the program why do they do an interview? Im confused and worried as i've made summer plans knowing this next year is going to be crazy packed with school work.
Just got accepted!!! See you all in September!!
congratulations!!! Oh my goodness I'm still waiting to hear from them!! and I applied so long ago When I called the other day the girl I spoke to told me that she "bumped me" to the top of the list for my application to be reviewed by a counselor meanwhile they had told me a few weeks prior that it was being reviewed.. this process is terrible the waiting is nerve racking.. I hope to hear from them soon. Congratulations to everyone who has been accepted!! I hope to join you soon!
You can find information on the info sessions by going to pace.edu clicking on future students and then under graduate students it says information sessions. They are all listed there.
Congratulations to everyone who has been accepted! As for me and everyone else still waiting.. I just found out that each councilor is appointed a letter of the alphabet and thats how they've been doing the applications. My last name starts with D and supposedly my councilor started looking over the applications today. So don't be scared if you've been waiting forever it just might be that your councilor started looking at the applications for the cdp program later than other councilors have. Keep your hopes up and good luck to all of us still waiting!!
I feel like I'm harassing the poor people in admissions. They finally told me my application has been reviewed and i should hear from them in about 2 weeks. I applied in December and my last recommendation letter went into their system in January. I'll post as soon as I hear from them. Good luck to us all!
I just wanted to know if anyone has gotten their acceptance letter for the Fall 2012 CDP program at pace.
