   R.O.M.E--> Respiratory- Opposite Metabolic- Equal If your pH and your CO2 are opposites then youll be in respiratory acidosis/alkalosis if your pH and you HCO3 are equal youll be in metabolic acidosis/alkalosis

   Think about whats going to kill the patient the fastest. Asterixis is a late sign so you'll probably pick up on other things indicating encephalopathy. Esophageal Varices can kill the patient quickly if not addressed.

   If you're with your friends and its your norm--sure. In a hospital setting, schoo, at work, in a professional setting...and ESPECIALLY in your own professional setting-- absolutely unprofessional.
