  1. Removing an EVD

NSGY residents. That is, unless the patient gets to it.
  2. I completely disagree. Clinical is pass /fail but everything else is graded normally. It's hard, but doable. I just happened upon this whole searching for ttc but hopefully the op has passed school. I think ttc is a wonderful school, which is why our...
  3. My NCLEX story

We had to score a 96 probability just to graduate, and it was twenty percent of our grade! We had three chances. I scored an 80, 86, then a 98! Practice practice practice! I also passed a few days ago but I thought I failed haha.
  4. I didn't study for the NCLEX and I passed, first try, with 75qs

Oh, and I found out I passed yesterday! I did have around 250 questions, though.
  5. I didn't study for the NCLEX and I passed, first try, with 75qs

I agree! I got NOT breeze through school, and had to retake a med surg class, but rarely studied like I should, since I've always worked during school. I graduated in December, took it a few days ago. Like you, I did 98 on the ATI predictor. I would ...
  6. Has anyone gotten the "good" pop up and failed the NCLEX RN?

I've heard of it but I think that's only if you don't wait 24 hours, as you are scored twice. If you get it after 24 hours, you should be ok! It worked for me!
  7. Why???? Are?? They?? Failing???

I had to repeat twice in school. One was a major med surg class, half of us failed. I just let myself get behind. The other was psych. It hit too close to home for me.... I had just found out someone close to me was using the drugs and didn't spend e...
  8. Trident Technical College and MAGNET

This is just saying students away. I graduated in December, and it was HARD. And took me three years. But hey, I take my Nclex in a month and feel prepared. It hasn't taken anyone more than a few months to get a job that I know, with or without medic...
  9. Trident Medical Center or MUSC?

I had clinical at Trident tele. I don't like Trident, but it is certainly the best floor I've been on. The nurses are great! But I'd prob choose musc.
  10. Work in it...or is living it enough?

I want to do this for the same reason. Had many friends who started using after high school, and had a boyfriend who started using while in the relationship, and ultimate ended it. I excelled in this area in school as well, from living it. I just want...
  11. I want to quit nursing.

I'm not a nurse yet, I'll be taking boards in a month... But I feel like this can happen anywhere. I've been in the food bev industry since I began working 8 years ago, and these jobs are about as catty as they come. I think if you stick it out long ...
  12. Expunged charges and licensure

So, I think I'm good. Thanks for your responses. I wrote a letter saying I had previous convictions which were expunged and what they were for, explaining what they were for. I logged on the website yesterday and it seems everything was accepted! I'm...
  13. Update! I finished nursing school, and have my ATT! I wish I had known I didn't need to disclose expunged matters because I did anyway haha. But either way everything has been accepted except for my Nclex since I won't be taking it until March.
  14. Expunged charges and licensure

I am not asking for legal advice, but I'm not sure what to do. The scbon says that if I have ever been arrested or convicted of a crime I must explain it and submit documentation. I do have a few past charges. All have been expunged. I called a court...
  15. do expunged charges matter

And no probation. I'm just wondering if expunged cases even look better to the bon.
