@tejas03 Thank you, and let me know how the interview goes. :)
  2. UTA Spring 2012

@tejas03 That's fabulous! Feels so great for it to be over, right!? Totally know that feeling. Now I'm starting over w/ totally new fears--starting nursing school--Yikes!! Excited tho. :)

@tejas03 Good luck! Cook is a fabulous place to work! Let me know how it goes. Hope the pharm final went well too. I was in your shoes last Spring w/ all that. We lost our prof three weeks into the semester. Crazy doesn't begin to tell the story, bu...
  4. UTA Spring 2012

@tejas03 I work in the hospital and live in Arlington, so I know nothing about that clinic. What is the position? Probably will ask a lot of scenario-based questions.
  5. UTA Spring 2012

@tejas03 I work at Cook Children's. How can I help?
  6. UTA Spring 2012

@tejas03 There is no requirement with hospitals about how long you've worked for them in order to apply for the APBSN program. There are requirements within each hospital about how long you have to work for them before they will pay for your school....

Anyone that got accepted to the APBSN program partnered w/ Cook Children's or JPS?
  8. UTA Spring 2012

I apologize. I misunderstood. I am a NUCU nutrition tech. No certifications req'd.
  9. UTA Spring 2012

@SA423 Your HESI does matter. Not as much as some other things, but when you get down to comparisons, it all matters. Figured that out in my advisor's office last Spring.
  12. UTA Spring 2012

@Judyduckett No, your current classes have nothing to do with being on the waitlist. As a waitlisted student, you MUST reapply just as you did this time. No carryovers.
  13. UTA Spring 2012

I was not partnered for Fall and got waitlisted. Partnering is definitely key. I do not have a previous degree.
  14. UTA Spring 2012

I am partnered w/ Cook Children's. Got accepted to both programs today. 4.0 in science, 3.7 other, 97 on HESI. Was waitlisted for this past Fall. If this is your goal, don't give up, just find out what it takes to make it. You can do this!!
  15. UTA Spring 2012

Reading all this makes me anxious for today's mail. I applied to both programs. I was second on the APBSN waitlist for fall and didn't get in. At that point I was unpartnered. Not anymore! Good luck to everyone!
