   BLS is requied, Some establishments require you get your ACLS after hire. IV therapy is usually not a requirement, some places train you once you hire inhouse.

   Hi Teresa, I sent mine off August 12th, I keep checking the DOH of Florida...nothing yet!! Someone on here said they were on the DOH 10 days after they sent in their application. I think you will be all set since you are moving in the Spring.

12. hourly rounding

    we do this at my hospital.....but share this with the nurse techs...so for the nurse it's q 2 hours .....for 3-11....i take the even starting at 4,6,8,10 and techs take the odd starting at 5,7,9,11....works out....:)

    application process is very straight forward, no essay required. I think you have to have 2.8 and above gpa. This all can be done online.
