You can use hangers to hang bags on. You could hang the hanger on the higher end of a door hinge. Ask any of your nurse friends to give you some syringes. You can ask the pharmacy if they have any expired supplies they are willing to throw away.
I almost didn't do EC because someone at my job went on and on about how the school ripped them off because they could not pass the CPNE x2. It scared my to DEATH! I got on the EC website and allnurses to learned more about the process and decided to do it. I was a brand new LPN and finished the EC program in 1 yr. Got to the CPNE and passed with no repeats. Now I am a RN on a Neuroscience floor making alot more money than before. Dont focus on what others say. Some people don't pass are bitter and talk bad about the school. You have to go to the CPNE prepared. They allow you to fail all the labs once, fail 1 adult and 1 Peds patient scenarios before they send you packing. Keep your ears filled with positive throughts and get through the nursing exams. Some people get so wired up over the CPNE and can't stay motived to pass the Nursing Test. Take it one step at a time and keep your eye on the prize.
Congrats!!! I know you're glad it's all over!!
Lol, my payment was processed before my enrollment was finalized. I'm glad though! I made the deadline. Now I have to figure out a way to get my transcripts from this freaking CC that I mysteriously owe money to from 5 yrs ago??:***:
I've just enrolled!!! Just faxed in all docs with cc number! Let's go!
Hi RTFisher!I felt exactly the same way with the SG until a took Sheri Taylor's online workshop. I couldn't afford to travel to Atlanta for the hands on workshop, but I like to study on my own anyway, so the online one was perfect for me. It was definitely a determinant factor in my passing the first time. Check it out at cpneworkshop.comBlessings to you as you prepare and pass this monster exam!ClaudiaPS: another great source of info was a Facebook group called "Let's Conquer the Beast"... Check it out. Many people there are on the EC board and are also former students of Sheri's (she and Greg - her assistant - are very active in that group giving tips and answering questions)
Even though I live in NY, might apply to the Southern region for the CPNE. I would like to do the workshop and then test at Grady in Ga! But I'll cross that bridge when I come to it. I first have to focus my studies to get there.
You find out your grade right after the test is completed.
Thank Rt. about to follow ur lead. Are u nervous about the fcca?
G8, that sounds like a plan. I've been told Health and Safety is just a review and not many people study for that test. But IDK. I think I'm going to study for every exam.
Hey everyone, when do we want to start this study group? Gena, you are the original poster that started this thread so feel free to let us know when and where. IMHO, I think a center location spot would be somewhere around Grand Central Station since many of us will be traveling via metro north. At least that's what's good for me. Lol. How often should we meet? What day?
