SANE pay. Time and a half or per case

Here in KY we get paid call time (about 1/3 normal hourly) then paid per exam (SA's are one rate, DV's another as well as refusals.) I can't imagine just getting a couple dollars extra or even time and a half. I think pay per case situation is nice ...

    So many questions.

I am ready to start school this fall. My ultimate goal is CNM/MSN from Frontier. I have no nursing background what so ever. Located in Louisville, KY I'd like to take the fastest (and most affordable, but don't mind expense if it's relatively quicker...

Where can CNM's attend homebirths without OB?

I currently reside in KY and for now at least, feel like I'd like to stay here if at all possible. I was told today (by someone who's planning a CNM attended home birth) that CNM's can attend home births here, so long as they're assisted by a license...
  11. In what states is it legal for a CNM to attend homebirths without having a backing OB? So far, my UNDERSTANDING (meaning not completely confirmed) is New York, Indiana, and Iowa allow this, not sure about others. Thank you!
