    I'm a new grad LPN and work in LTC. I had orientation-5days. I have 37 patients!!! Mentally, physically and emotionally stressful. My opinion, don't take it; not worth the stress!

    I liked Saunders a lot! IMO-I thought that book prepared me the most. I took my test January 4th (passed on 1st try with min amount of Qs)

    PDA is more geared twds RN but can be used for LPN as well. I used it ( more for the SATA Qs). Difficulty level of Qs is higher up. What books do u have?

    Thanks for the replies. 2nd day orientation today and all I can say it's not as bad as I thought it would be but most definitely organization is key. Med pass was not too bad just seemed like never-ending but with some speed and just learning reside...
