    Being a nurse you have many responsibilities..so if you "don't like all of the responsiblity" then maybe nursing is not for you. As a new grad or even a new employee, you can not be picky as to what shift you work or even which days you are schedule...
  2. Everyone has life circumstances when they can't work certain days. I would let employers know up front what days you are not available to work and if they really want you they will work around your schedule:)

  4. I know at the hospital that I work at they count how many hours of work you put in not how many years. That's what they use to figure out seniority levels also. Hopes this help.

    Yes, there were lots of SATA. Just be prepared. I had 85 questions on my NCLEX PN and I lost count after 10 SATA. I remember getting three in a row of SATA towards the end of the test. Found out I passed this morning, so glad to get that one over...

    Yes, I'm convinced now that it works. I took mine Friday AM @ 0800. Tried the trick later that day around 1100ish and I got the "good pop up." Checked my board of nursing this morning and yippy, I PASSED!

  11. I took my NCLEX PN this past Friday June 10. The computer shut down on me at 85 questions. I'm not sure how I did yet but I will probably find out on Monday or so. I did the PVT and got a "good pop up." Yes the test was a tough one. Study hard!
