   They pay about 18.75 an hour base pay. And of course they have night and weekend differentials. (I just don't remember how much they are.)

   Haha, no that is not all it said. However, it was VERY vague. I am guessing from the "Best regards" at the bottom of the email, I did not receive an interview. I am kind of upset about it but know that there probably are better candidates out there....

    I had an interview at a local hospital here in Nashville today and got offered a position on the spot. I took it just in case things fall through with Vanderbilt, but I keep thinking what if. I wish we would here something from Vanderbilt already!!

    The schools haven't ever really helped with placements. They help with resumes, cover letters, and interview skills but that is about it.

    I have contacted most of the hospitals in Nashville hired their "New Grads" during the summer. The hospitals ARE in need of nurses but are staying away from hiring new grads.
