    An A.A.S. is a career preparation degree that qualifies you to work in the field of your major upon graduation (presuming you pass any relevant licensing exams, like in this case, NCLEX). An A.S. degree is generally a transfer degree.

    Most schools have tutoring centers which are free of cost to students. Also, office hours and open labs are excellent "free" resources (although you could say you are paying for these services with your tuition- another great reason to USE THEM).
